Brown Trout Tumbler set

These tumblers are All About Trout! I sculpted the mold for this design based on several drawings and pictures of trout species. I took special note of their mouth that looks almost like the beak of a raptor. These are, after-all, the top predator of many rivers, creeks and even lakes!

Just like the Bass Glass, the digital sculpture was 3D printed and cast in aluminum. Needless to say, I had to learn a lot of different techniques to pull this off! I'm now working hard to replicate some real trout color patterns. These even have a bit of a fishy sheen from a surface treatment that creates iridescence.

This is a great set of near equal size and weight: 5 1/2" high and 2 1/2" wide at top.
