Bowls/Platters

Bowls are typically made with a shallow design highlighting the inner surface of the glass. This requires reverse thinking from most vessels in which background/contrasting layers are applied to highlight the final color layer. You never quite know what you are going to get until you open it up. Platters are spun open dramatically while bowls are more carefully formed with an eye toward proportion and following a pleasing curve. A footed platter lends itself to wall-hanging.
